Established in 2010, Wasabi has been the "secret gem" among the local and non-local customers in Chicago's new destination spot. Wasabi is one of few Japanese owned Japanese restaurants in Chicago that offers a full range of both traditional and contemporary Japanese cuisine to bring an unique Japanese dining experience. Wasabi is everything you'd expect and nothing you'd imagine: Small plates (Izakaya-style) that pay homage to the likes of tofu, grilled skewers, an authentic Japanese ramen made from boiling pork bones for days. At Wasabi, we use the freshest and high quality ingredients, all seafood is flown in fresh on a daily basis from all over the world, including Tsukiji market in Tokyo.
